Bridal Bouquets Still Intact

Materials needed

  • Box large enough to accommodate your packing method
  • Water
  • Cellophane (NOT plastic wrap for covering food)
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Duct tape
  • Frozen gel ice bags (found in department stores in Sporting Goods or Housewares)
  • Styrofoam peanuts for packing
  • Packing tape

Instructions

  1. Select a shipping box that is deep enough to place the wedding bouquet down into it so the tops of the flowers are well into the box.
  2. Pour water carefully into the oasis of the bouquet holder until it is saturated. Be careful not to get water on the petals.
  3. Take a large sheet of cellophane and place it over the bridal flowers, balloon style, taping the edges of the cellophane to the bottom of the bouquet holder just above the handle. This will prevent the packing peanuts from moving over and around your flowers while in transit.
  4. Hot glue the wedding bouquet handle to the bottom of the shipping box so the flowers are well situated and not touching the sides of the box. Also very securely duct tape across the handle of the bouquet holder to ensure it will be stationary throughout the shipping.
  5. You can tape a couple of frozen ice gel bags around the handle of the bouquet holder.
  6. Fill the box carefully with packing peanuts being sure that the peanuts pack in around the bottom of the box under the wedding flowers. Carefully cover over the cellophane with the peanuts. Prepare the shipping box securely to ship.
  7. You must ship overnight express to ensure the freshness of the wedding flowers!!
  8. Please ship to: Suspended In Time® Victoria, 1144 Menke Rd., Victoria, TX 77905
